So it went from low 80's to nearly a 100 in a matter of a couple days... but the humidity is what hurts. Lexie, my dog, stood looking at me today when I was working in the flower beds.... I said ... What do you want? She walked to her water bowl and flipped it... spilling water everywhere. She looked back at me and of course I understood what she wanted. Ice water... she is so spoiled.
I went to look at the land my son had cleared to make pasture for cows.... so sad to see all the trees gone but he needs the land for cows.

And finally, just so y'all don't think I'm a "kill every varmint you see" type person... which I am for the most part... Ronnie heard something in one of the back stalls at the barn... went to see what is was and guess what he found..... a five foot chicken snake trying to climb the wall. He moved to watch it and put his arm on a bigger one stretched across the stall door. He let both of them live. Maybe they will help with the bird and mouse problem at the barn. Ron's dogs won't let a cat live long at the barn.

EEK, two snakes?? I'm pretty cool about snakes, but that would probably freak me out.
