Last Friday we had nasty thunderstorms and many of my neighbors had trees to cut up and yards to pick up as weekend jobs.
I was busy at work this morning...a gentle rain and not wind morning... when my neighbor (who is also my sister-in-law) calls and asks, "Did a tree fall in your front yard?"
Me: When?
Her: Was a tree down when you went to work
Me: Where?
Her: In your front yard
Me: No
Her: Well, there's one down now
She was only seeing the limbs and two large limbs were still twisted and hanging ... so she thought it was a tree.
But really, what does it mean when your trees make it in a storm and comes apart when it's calm.

Glad no one was hurt. We've been praying for rain too. Along with the rain we have a bumper crop of mosquitoes.(and frogs)
