Happy Poetry Month! Hope everyone enjoys my addition to the 2014
Progressive Poem, organized by Irene Latham. Follow the progress of this poem by checking
out the links below. How cool is it to have 30
different people adding to one poem.
Sitting on a rock, airing out my feelings to the universe
Acting like a peacock, only making matters that much worse;
Should I trumpet like an elephant emoting to the moon,
Or just ignore the warnings written in the rune?
Those stars can’t seal my future; it’s not inscribed in stone.
The possibilities are endless! Who could have known?
Should I trumpet like an elephant emoting to the moon,
Or just ignore the warnings written in the rune?
Those stars can’t seal my future; it’s not inscribed in stone.
The possibilities are endless! Who could have known?
Gathering courage, spiral like an eagle after prey

I love the imagery in this line!
Awesome!
Gathering courage... yes! Thank you, Pat. xo
Delicious word, "spiral" - and it just happens to go with our 2014 logo! Thanks, Pat!
The animal similes -- including your eagle -- work so well together.
Now readied for action. Beautiful start to the next part.
Love the addition of the eagle!
Where shall we spiral next? Love how this rhyme is being carried through and the -ings well placed.
An eagle after prey! Great line!
Oh, yes...the internal gathering. I, too, thought of the logo. Perfect movement!
