A busy week last week doing the "job" thingy... then I gave riding lessons three days in a row... nothing cuter than two little horse lovers riding horses. Garden is coming in... got little cucumbers, tons of squash and zucchini and peppers... butterbeans have little pods on them but they take awhile to fill out. Tons of green tomatoes but none ripe yet... cooking fried green tomatoes tonight with fresh turnip and collard greens. yummmmmmy
I'm planning to can some green beans tomorrow, but the butter beans will be a long time yet. We didn't plant any squash this year, but we are having more cucumbers than we can eat. It is a busy time, but I love it!
